You can find out a lot about someone by reading their profile and looking through their photos before you even connect with them.  You’re opportunities to meet someone compatible are much greater than chatting up a stranger at the grocery store. It’s like shopping online for a that someone special. Some sites/apps are better than others.  It’s a numbers game for sure!

2 – Local Events, Common Interest Groups or Clubs

Whether it’s a wine tastings, day hikes or networking groups what better to connect with others.  There is an event or club for just about every interest out there!

1 – Group Travel

Sign up for a group trip to a new destination that you’ve always wanted to explore.  Bring a friend or signup on your own.  Sounds scary, but by the end of your trip you will make more new friends than you can handle.  Think about it, you’re off on an adventure with several new people getting to know everone in a relaxed environment doing the things you already love – skiing, wine tasting, hiking, snorkeling, biking, sightseeing, etc.  People do make new friends, key business contacts and yes, even date and end up getting married.  There are several travel companies out that that offer ski, bike, domestic, international and adventure travel group trips.  Most use the term ‘solo travel’, which is anyone traveling alone including married people.
